Hartsfield Manor Wedding Photography
We arrived up the long driveway beneath towering oaks for Stacey and Nathan's wedding in Surrey. It was shot during the height of the gorgeous June weather at the grand Hartsfield Manor, nestled in 16 acres of private countryside in Betchworth. The undeniably tranquil wedding venue perfectly suited the bright and happy couple and I can honestly say that my cheeks hurt from laughing at all the hilarious moments throughout this wedding!
Luxury Wedding Venue in Surrey
Stacey and her bridesmaids prepared for the big day at at the manor itself in The Dressing Room, whilst Nathan arrived a little later up the long driveway beneath those towering oaks and enthusiastically greeted the guests at this magnificence Victorian stately home and all of it's grandeur. But the fun really started when this wedding ceremony kicked off, I made sure I had my camera ready!
One of the best wedding venues in Surrey
As an emotional Stacey entered Hartfield Lounge the abundance of natural daylight lit her path down the aisle and the high ceilings and amazing views offed a magnificent backdrop for their photos. Little did Stacey know that the greatest barrier to her marriage would be Nathan's inability to say the phrase 'I do solemnly declare'. To be honest, I've never really thought about it myself, but the word 'solemnly' is not the easiest to say, and as a result, the entire wedding party erupted into fits of giggles, including the bride and groom themselves, whilst the registrars patiently waited until Nathan could compose himself and finally get it right after a few attempts! It set the tone for the rest of the day and I barely saw a moment where the married couple weren't grinning from ear-to-ear!
Highlights of the day include: two little girls climbing into the bride's dress to help retrieve pesky bugs that had got into the skirt of the wedding dress; Nathan, to everyone's horror, attempting to do the 'vogue dance' whilst holding a 3 week old baby; the groomsmen generally kissing one another when possible and re-enacting events from the stag party; the inclusion of a life-sized cardboard cutout of Nathan as a firefighter during the best man's speech; the revelation that there was a secret homage to Tottenham Hotspur Football Club on the wedding cake; and finally, the beautifully moving first dance outside in the 16 acres of the impressive grounds of the manor, everyone could continue to enjoy the beautiful wedding at Hartsfield Manor in the evening sunshine!
I know what you're thinking - you wish you had been there!
Hartsfield Manor Wedding
Overall, it was such a pleasure to be their wedding photographer at Hartsfield Manor because Stacey and Nathan really made the day. The two of them are such a laid back, fun-loving and infectiously funny couple. The wedding guests clearly adored the two of them and it really was the perfect location for the day. I genuinely hope that they take that love and laughter with them as they continue their lives together as a married couple, as they won't spend a day without smiling. Congratulations guys!
Stacey and Nathan's Testimonial
It was a very hot day for us but Lloyd stayed through to the first dance where he suggested we did it outside and it was perfect. We have so many photos that were taken of us where we don't even remember him being there and I really mean that in a positive way. I can't recommend Lloyd highly enough. He was everything we wanted and more in a photographer. Wedding photos are something that should be cherished forever and ours certainly will be."

Internationally Award-Winning Photography
This photo has won number of awards but the Fearless Awards are the most prestigious. Out of the 10,000 entries only 1% of the images are awarded, in this round I won three!
I looked across the beautiful garden at Hartsfield Manor and saw the two girls getting into Stacey's wedding dress, they were trying to get the bugs out! I knew this was a photo opportunity not to be missed. I lined myself up with the girls and Stacey, making sure my composition was just right and waited for the perfect shot. It took a good few minutes of me sat with my finger on the shutter button until I had the shot I was after. This photo has won a number of awards and I think it is because you can just see how much fun the the girls are having in the wedding dress, it is pure innocences.
